Friday Funday.... & A Week of "Firsts"

Forewarning: this is a long one but well worth the read!!!

Ahhhhhh.... so the week is over and the weekend is upon us. I am so sorry I have not posted in a few days. But clearly I have been living life fully everyday!
So a quick recap of the week...

This week was off the charts! I started my own blog on Sunday, went to a C.A.B.I. (Carol Anderson By Invitation) show and purchased two cute tops! These parties are super popular in the town where I work. I have been to 2 now and got another invitation this week to one next week. I will say awesome clothes that fit VERY well and are good quality. They are a little on the more expensive side, but are great! I'll go into that some other time.... this is supposed to be a recap after all.

Then I decided to start my own business, which I told you about last post, and will elaborate more on in the future. My launch trunk show is next Thursday! But this has been a blessing in so many ways and I am so excited about it! Sorry to my friends and family since I can't stop talking about it. (I'm not getting much sleep I am so excited and learning so much)

Wednesday, I got back into my workout routine and jumped on the elliptical for a while.

Thursday- HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!!! Love this holiday. The whole school was in the spirit (after all everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day right?) But really I am Irish and just love the whole day! It was a packed day though. The students had a half day and staff had professional development. Then I ran home, met a friend at Michael's and we did some shopping. Because yes, I decided to run a 5k on Sunday (did I mention I haven't run since summer/fall). Any who, we were buying shirts to decorate ribbon for our hair fun socks etc. It is a ST. Patrick's day theme! :) Were just gonna have fun! I won't be fast that's for sure. Then my future hubby and I had pre-marital counseling (protocol from the minister who is marrying us). We each had to fill out a book (which I briefly mentioned in the last post). Well we got some good laughs, & some sweet moments. I am so excited to be marrying my best friend! We stopped and picked up some Irish food on the way home, and came home to root for UCONN in march madness! And I have to mention it was beautiful, first sunny day in MONTHS, and it was 67 degrees!

Friday- Last day of standardized testing (gag).... finally relief and back to normalcy next week! The kids were off the walls the past two weeks! After work today, I had my first eye exam ever. I noticed a few weeks ago my right eye was a little blurry. Ha well come to find out I have astigmatism, and yes in about a week I will be the proud owner of a new pair of glasses. Good news is I don't have to wear them all the time (although I do think they are cute for glasses, had to make sure of that so my 13 year olds wouldn't give me a hard time). But I don't want my blue eyes to be hidden :(..... Oh well... I can say after the exam I think i will be seeing a whole lot clearer! Then met future hubby at grocery store, quality bonding! Got home my Stella & Dot package was here with my business materials, grilled outside, and watched March Madness again. Worked on my facebook fan page! And now off to bed....

So needless to say.... a lot of "firsts" this week, but I fully believe there should always be at least one "first" a week. So I challenge to think about your week and if there were any "firsts"... Comment below and share (if you'd like), maybe someone else will be inspired! And again one more challenge whether or not you had any "firsts" try to have at least one "first" a week! Then you know you are getting lots of experiences and the most out of life.... LIVING IT FULLY EVERYDAY!!!

Goodnight

5 AM- Woke up feeling refreshed and ready to go!
7:30 AM- Arrived at school ready to teach one of my favorite lessons in the health curriculum! Kids loved it!
3 PM- Ended my school day, headed down to the cafeteria, where the best group of ladies was waiting for me to teach my Monday afternoon ZUMBA class. (P.S.- if you have not tried this workout, it is amazing! Comment on this post and I can hook you up with a new fun way to exercise and burn many calories. 50 min DANCE PARTY session today burned 500 calories, all while laughing and having a great time!)
4 PM- Headed home but had to stop and do a few errands, and decided to pick up some dinner at a great local Italian restaurant. (Hey after all those calories I burned, I deserved a treat! Fresh garlic Mozzarella bread, Caesar salad, and Gnochhi with veal meatballs. I usually don't like red meat or veal, but these were very good! And it came with a cannolli which I do have to say is still waiting to get devoured, but might have to wait til tomorrow, too full!)

WELCOME

Hi Everyone,

I want to welcome you to my blog. I have recently been introduced to the world of blogging and have found it to be so exciting. You can find blogs on any and everything. Some help get you discounts, some are about professions, events and planning, showcasing talent, passions in life, etc. The list goes on...
I have found blogs to be so helpful and entertaining. Some I have empathized with and realized there were others out there feeling the same way I was. Many blogs I have learned something from, and all have helped me in my life some way some how.
I will introduce myself to you a little bit in my next post, but let's just say I am at a point in my life where things are constantly changing, and I am exploring and learning through all my of experiences. I guess you can say that this isn't really a point, yet it's just LIFE! Life is change and experiences, and I am hoping through this blog you will find some knowledge, empathy, joy, excitement, puzzlement, etc. Because after all everything is LIFE, and we all should Live It Fully Everyday (even when it can be hard)!
